Monsters, mummies and ghouls will come to life in time for Halloween in the Dungeon of Doom at The Hollywood Museum.
The museum’s dungeon includes the unique history of horror and suspense from Hollywood over the years.
In honor of the “Silence of the Lambs” 30th anniversary, guests can wander through the complete jail cell set used during filming. The exhibit features original costumes and props used in the making of the film.
Among other historic horrors, patrons may discover Dracula, Frankenstein and his Bride, and the original costumes of the terrible trio: Freddy from “Nightmare on Elm Street,” Jason from “Friday the 13th” and Michael from “Halloween.”
Also in the exclusive collection are Pennywise from “It,” Annabelle from “The Conjuring” and Chucky and his Bride. Visitors can see costumes worn by Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen in “Sweeney Todd,” as well as various costumes featured in “The Walking Dead,” “Underworld,” “Van Helsing,” “Blair Witch Project,” “Frankenstein,” “Dracula,” “Vampira” and “Elvira.”
Guests may encounter some spooky animatronics, including The Beast from “The Sandlot,” and the death masks of Vincent Price, Bella Lugosi, Lon Chaney, Christopher Lee, Boris Karloff and Peter Lorre.
Masks must be worn at all times. Tickets range from $5 to $15.
