Police are searching for the driver of a white Mercedes that struck and seriously injured a female victim in Hollywood on Oct. 9.
Witnesses reported the hit-and-run collision at Santa Monica Boulevard and El Centro Avenue at approximately 6:05 a.m. The victim was standing next to a parked vehicle when she was struck by the Mercedes, which was traveling west on Santa Monica Boulevard, police said. Officer J. Zambada, of the LAPD’s West Traffic Division, added the victim remains hospitalized but he did not know the extent of her injuries.
Zambada said police are looking for a newer model, four-door white Mercedes C Class sedan, which likely sustained front end damage. He did not know if the driver was male or female. Anyone with information is urged to call(213)473-0234 or (213)473-0222.
