Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced on Oct. 26 that a national search is being conducted for an expert to lead the office’s Bureau of Victim Services.

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors authorized the new position in September. The director will be responsible for leading, planning, organizing and evaluating the operations of the Bureau of Victim Services. Tiffiny Blacknell, special advisor to the district attorney, will serve as interim director of the bureau until the position is filled. For information, call (800)380-3811.
