Metro is seeking public input through Oct. 18 on its Local Hazard Mitigation Plan.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency requires Metro to prepare a hazard mitigation plan to apply for non-emergency disaster assistance funding for the protection of its public facilities. The plan identifies Metro’s assets, natural hazard threats and mitigation actions.
Metro’s Vision 2028 strategic plan seeks to improve mobility in Los Angeles County and explains what the public can expect through 2028.
