The grounds of The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills were transformed into a sophisticated supper club and nightclub on Sept. 24 for “The Wallis Delivers: Al Fresco Night,” an outdoor gala honoring the city of Beverly Hills for its role in the creation and ongoing support of the venue.
The soiree, which included a gourmet dinner catered by Wally’s, benefited The Wallis’ artistic, education and outreach programs. It was hosted by entertainment icon and Wallis Board Member Debbie Allen and featured DJ Paris Hilton and Broadway star Shoshana Bean. Also performing live were R&B singer Sheléa, soprano Camille Zamora accompanied by pianist Lucy Tucker Yates and CalArts President Ravi Rajan on trumpet, jazz pianist Connie Han and the John Burroughs High School Powerhouse Choir. Video tributes were offered by comedian Sandra Bernhard, Wallis Board Member Nigel Lythgoe, OBE and singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright.

Premier sponsor Harry Winston, Inc., which was represented by Al Fresco Host Committee member Gisele Sheehan, designed awards presented to the city.
