The Beverly Hills Unified School District Board of Education on Aug. 10 approved the appointment of Beverly Vista Middle School Assistant Principal Joe Little.
Little served the last 10 years at Animo Westside Middle School, part of Green Dot Public Schools in Playa del Rey. He was a history teacher and served five years as assistant principal.
“Mr. Little is an experienced middle school administrator who has impressive knowledge in the field of special education,” BHUSD Superintendent Michael Bregy said. “We look forward to welcoming him to the BVMS and wider BHUSD community.”
Little received his master of arts in education and administration credential from Loyola Marymount University and his bachelor of arts in history and teaching credential from California State University, Long Beach. He will start on Aug. 16 in the new position at Beverly Vista Middle School.
“I am honored and grateful to become the new assistant principal at Beverly Vista Middle School,” Little said. “This district has been a leader of what quality education looks like for students for a very long time and I cannot wait to support and help grow that legacy at BVMS. I am excited to meet everybody that is a part of the great community at Beverly Vista Middle School. Go Bulldogs.”
