Children’s Hospital Los Angeles patient Genesis, 15, is awaiting a heart transplant, and staff members recently took a unique approach to keep her spirits lifted.

Her care team — doctors, nurses and child life specialists — surprised her by gathering around for an impromptu dance party to her favorite BTS song, “Dynamite.” Genesis knows the lyrics by heart and couldn’t stop grooving, smiling and reveling in the moment.
