After being closed for 16 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, West Hollywood City Hall has reopened for in-person services by appointment.
The appointment system will help limit capacity to safeguard community health and protect city staff. Walk-in services will not be permitted.
Appointments may be scheduled in advance for in-person meetings with a staff member from one of eight city divisions: Building and Safety, Cashier/Revenue Services, City Clerk, Code Compliance, Current and Historic Preservation Planning, Engineering, Parking, and Rent Stabilization and Housing. Social Services Division assistance details are also available on the appointments webpage. Some other divisions will also provide opportunities to schedule time-specific appointments for virtual services to be conducted by phone or video conference.
Once an appointment is made, the city’s system will provide a confirmation email as well as a text reminder message prior to the appointment time. When arriving for an appointment at City Hall, a confirmation email or reminder text must be shown to gain entry.
In accordance with requirements and recommendations from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, the California Department of Public Health and Cal/OSHA, the city of West Hollywood requires masks to be worn at all times at City Hall. Touchless temperature checks are also required.
