Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills has announced the newest addition to its talented culinary team with the appointment of Gordon Fischmann as general manager of the alfresco dining hotspot, the Rooftop by JG. In his new role, Fischmann will be responsible for overseeing operations, managing team members and working closely with the culinary team to further elevate the overall guest experience.
Fischmann’s global culinary experience has taken him around the world, serving in various food and beverage positions in Spain, Germany and Austria. Most recently, he held positions at luxury properties throughout Southern California including restaurant managerial roles at The Beverly Hilton, The St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort & Spa, Park Hyatt Aviara Golf Club & Spa and Balboa Bay Resort. Fischmann resides in Los Angeles with his wife and 4-year-old son.
