Visitors to the Hollywood Heritage Museum on Highland Avenue can view rare artifacts and information about the history of the entertainment industry. The museum has reopened after closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday through Sunday.
The past 15 months have been challenging for Hollywood Heritage as an organization, museum and advocacy group, officials said. The pandemic forced the organization to close the Lasky DeMille Barn and the Preservation Resource Center.
During the pandemic, Hollywood Heritage produced over a dozen online events, including “The Importance of Being Ernie” and “Your Girl and Mine,” with viewers tuning in from around the world. The Hollywood Heritage gift shop and bookstore is now available online.
Hollywood Heritage plans to continue producing quality content and showcasing rare photographs, articles and videos at the museum.
The Hollywood Heritage Museum is located at 2100 N. Highland Ave. For information, visit hollywoodheritage.org and hhprc.org.
