The Beverly Hills City Council has unanimously condemned last week’s decision by Ben & Jerry’s to stop selling its ice cream products in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

“The actions of this company are antithetical to the values that we hold dear in Beverly Hills,” Mayor Bob Wunderlich said.  “This City Council has always conveyed an ongoing commitment to Israel and exposing hatred anywhere it exists.”

At a meeting on July 22, all members of the City Council expressed their deep disappointment with the company and reaffirmed their concern about the rise of anti-Semitism.
