The Beverly Hills Art Show held May 15-16 featured 10 Master Class workshops in seven media at Greystone Mansion and Gardens. All workshops sold out.
Classes included Gouche painting by artist Carol Steinberg, creating copper jewelry by artist Deidre Greene, ceramics by artist Robert Miller, watercolor by artist Kim Winberry, photography by artist Marshall Vanderhoof, sketching by artist Hilary Taub and glass Mosaics by artist David Greenhalgh.
In addition to the master classes, 10 artists had their work on display for the public to view in the Courtyard of Greystone Mansion and Gardens. Artist Gustavo Santana displayed his hand-crafted art glass with distinct etchings. The hand-blown glass is sandblasted and etched by Santana creating remarkably beautiful pieces. Santana’s work can be seen at fine galleries across America and on the American Art Auction Network.
Those who explored the virtual side of the BH Art Show at beverlyhills.org/artshow found intriguing interviews with artists discussing their craft and the far-reaching impact of art on their communities.
