The Japan Foundation is hosting the virtual “Nobuo Anzai: Homage to a Nomadic Storyteller” virtually through June 18.
The new exhibit features his later paintings in a virtual setting, offering a more global reach, three years after the foundation hosted the in-person exhibition “Migrating Dreamscapes: Nobuo Anzai.”
The exhibit was kicked off with a Facebook live conversation on March 18 between the curators and the exhibition, Kio Griffith and Mikoto Anzai, Nobuo’s daughter, which delved into the works and life of the late artist.
