Beverly Hills Vice Mayor Robert Wunderlich will assume the role of mayor in the city’s annual installation ceremony on April 6.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. and will be livestreamed at beverlyhills.org/live.
Wunderlich will replace outgoing Mayor Lester Friedman, who will continue to serve as a council member, and Councilwoman Lili Bosse will replace Wunderlich as vice mayor.
This will be the first one-year term as mayor for Wunderlich, who was elected to the council in 2017. Bosse, who was elected in 2011, previously served as mayor in 2014 and 2017, and is expected to serve as mayor again beginning in 2022.
