Holocaust Museum LA is seeking those who enjoy working with people, especially middle and high school students, and those who have a passion for history and education, believe the Holocaust should never be forgotten and want to make a difference from home, to serve as virtual docents.
Primary roles for the job include helping lead virtual tours of the museum galleries for students, educating on Holocaust history, engaging students while utilizing primary sources, oral history and gallery education techniques and connecting with others who are passionate about history, education and culture.
Training will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting April 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All sessions must be attended in full. Docents must be comfortable working with Zoom and PowerPoint. Capacity is limited.
