The MAK Center reopened the Schindler House to the public on a limited basis on March 12.
Visitation is by reservation only, with one party able to visit per hour, and each party limited to five people. Masks and social distancing are required at all times.
The general public will be available to visit Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Members will be able to visit Friday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Other COVID-19 safety guidelines include hand sanitizer available at the entrance, children must be supervised by an adult and anyone exhibiting signs of illness will not be permitted entry. Restrooms are not open to the public.
On display until March 28 is “Demo,” a group exhibition featuring Nazgol Ansarinia, Margarethe Drexel, Lexis-Olivier Ray and Yan Tomaszewski that explores the lines between demolition, transformation and extinction. It is co-curated by Priscilla Fraser and Anthony Carfello. Visitation is by reservation only.
