Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Bureau Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for killing a man in Hollywood on March 2.
At approximately 6:25 a.m., officers from the Hollywood Division responded to a call about a shooting near Sunset Boulevard and Orange Drive. Officers located a male adult victim inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Witnesses reported that the victim had been outside his vehicle arguing with an unidentified woman before a shot was heard, police said. The victim got back into his vehicle and the woman walked away east on Sunset Boulevard, authorities added.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.
