The Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council is hosting a virtual town hall on Thursday, March 25, at 6 p.m. about e-bikes.
The town hall will feature local experts taking questions about electric bicycles and their place in the future of urban transportation.
Panelists include Lindsay Sturman, co-host of the podcast “Bike Talk”; Marcel Porras, the Los Angeles Department of Transportation’s chief sustainability officer for transportation technology; and Adam Long, a sustainable transportation advocate.
Questions that will be answered include: What are the metrics of e-bike use in L.A.? Are e-bikes sustainable? and what concerns are present with e-bikes?
