Gracias Madre reopens
On March 1, Gracias Madre will reopen in time to participate in dineL.A. The popular vegan restaurant in West Hollywood is offering both lunch and dinner menus for dine-in only. Some plant-based menu highlights include a Little Gem Salad and a gordita made with masa, black beans, salsa verde, avocado and crema. They are also offering tacos árabe, enchiladas verdes and potato pimento flautas. Finish with a gluten-free chocolate brownie with caramelized plantains and coconut whipped cream. Lunch is $25 and available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the dinner menu is $50 starting from 3 p.m. to closing. Hugo’s West Hollywood dineL.A.
Order a power bowl and brew for $15 at Hugo’s. New Sweet Chick menu items
Known for its chicken and waffles, Sweet Chick has evolved into a quick-service restaurant and launched a new breakfast item; a crispy breakfast blueberry muffin Belgian waffle. New all-day menu items include a flaky buttermilk biscuit slathered with honey butter and topped with fried chicken that’s been brined in house-made ranch and pickle juice, then dredged and fried until golden and crispy. For a limited-time through Feb. 28, Sweet Chick’s signature fried chicken is tossed in a warm maple chipotle sauce and served with a choice of waffle, from classic Belgian to apple cinnamon. Also until Feb. 28, guests can order Sweet Chick’s take on a classic chicken pot pie, featuring warm buttermilk biscuits smothered with creamy chicken, fresh herbs, peas, carrots and celery. Casa Vega reopens

Urban Plates Plate Pass
Urban Plates’ subscription membership program Plate Pass has been extended for another two-month round for March and April. For a $20 fee, every entrée for two months is just $10. Through the first two-month run – January and February – Plate Pass members saved an average of $49.
