Los Angeles City Councilman Paul Koretz, 5th District, has announced his campaign for city controller in 2022 has been endorsed by leaders throughout the city, including Mayor Eric Garcetti, Council President Nury Martinez and the United Firefighters of Los Angeles City. Additional supporters include Councilmembers Bob Blumenfield, Joe Buscaino, Kevin de Leon, Curren Price and Monica Rodriguez, as well as Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis and Los Angeles County Assessor Jeff Prang.

Koretz has served on the City Council since 2009 and is a member of its Budget and Finance Committee. He said he is committed to a progressive policy agenda with sound fiscal management.
