The city of Beverly Hills is reopening of playgrounds on Dec. 10 at Roxbury, La Cienega and Coldwater Canyon parks, and Arnaz, Hamel and Reeves mini parks, after Los Angeles County updated its public health order. The county is allowing playgrounds to reopen with safety guidelines.
Safety protocols that must be practiced while visiting parks and playgrounds include wearing face coverings, physically distancing at least 6 feet apart and washing hands before and after visiting playgrounds. No food or drink is allowed. Follow occupancy guidelines and limit time to allow others to use playgrounds.
Visitors are asked to recreate responsibly for everyone’s safety. People feeling ill or experiencing fever, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing are advised to stay home. To ensure the safety of park and playground visitors, Beverly Hills city staff will monitor compliance.
