Candidates seeking to run for a seat on the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council must submit applications by Dec. 28. 

The neighborhood council election will be held on March 16. Twenty-one board members will be elected to the GWNC, as well as 21 alternates. Terms last two years.

Fifteen of the seats are by geographic region; six seats are for representatives in the categories of renter, business, education, religion, other nonprofit and at-large. Candidates must be 18 and live, work, own property or be part of the six special interest categories in the GWNC area.
