St. Vincent Meals on Wheels is celebrating the holidays in a fun, safe and delicious way by holding a cookie decorating event for families. Participants purchase a St. Vincent Meals on Wheels Cookie Kit for $50, with proceeds benefiting the nonprofit’s meal delivery program for seniors. The kits include cookies, decorations, a cocktail recipe and Zoom link to a virtual party on Thursday, Dec. 10, at 6 p.m.

The kits can be picked up on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Santa’s L.A. Workshop, 2303 Miramar St. Participants will be greeted by holiday carolers in a drive-thru and receive cookie kits from Santa’s helpers.

Demand for St. Vincent Meals on Wheels services have doubled since the pandemic began, and the cookie kits provide much-needed support for the organization. For an additional $5, participants can have cookies sent to five seniors.
