Los Angeles residents can apply for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power’s CARES Utility Grant Assistance Program, which is expected to assist up to 100,000 low-income ratepayers who have been impacted by the coronavirus and struggle to pay utility bills.

The deadline to apply online is Nov. 15. Checks will be mailed by Dec. 30. For information, visit ladwp.com.
