Market Tavern at the Original Farmers Market is offering a special Thanksgiving feast with an English twist. Market Tavern Chef Brendan Collins said it is the perfect way to celebrate with classic family-style Thanksgiving fare and traditional English favorites.
“An American Thanksgiving table looks almost exactly the same as the Christmas dinners I grew up with,” Collins said. “So this Nov. 26, along with staple favorites [like] turkey, gravy, yams, green beans and pecan pie, we’ll be serving up some Brit Yuletide nosh like Yorkshire pudding, roasted Brussels sprouts and of course, plenty of lovely roasty potatoes.”
Guests can choose turkey, roast beef or roast salmon. Market Tavern’s special Thanksgiving menu also includes an arugula and goat cheese salad, broccoli cheddar soup, and a mouthwatering selection of desserts including apple, pumpkin and pecan pies, with ice cream.
