The city of West Hollywood is providing official ballot drop-off boxes at three locations in different parts of the city.

People can submit sealed ballots in the boxes, which are located outside of the West Hollywood City Hall, the West Hollywood Library and the Community Center at Plummer Park. The city of West Hollywood has worked with Los Angeles County officials to install the three official vote-by-mail ballot drop boxes.

West Hollywood City Hall is located at 8300 Santa Monica Blvd. The ballot drop box is behind City Hall near the parking structure driveway on Sweetzer Avenue.

The West Hollywood Library is located at 625 N. San Vicente Blvd., and the drop box is in front of the library near the entrance to the parking structure. Plummer Park is located at 7377 Santa Monica Blvd., and the drop box is in front of the entrance to the Community Center.

Official vote-by-mail ballot drop boxes are bright yellow, white and blue and are clearly marked. They feature multiple safety and security features, including 24-hour electronic monitoring.

The city of West Hollywood warns that there have been reports of unofficial drop boxes being installed in some areas in California. The public is cautioned to familiarize themselves with the official ballot drop boxes by visiting lavote.net/home/voting-elections/voting-options/vote-by-mail/vbm-ballot-drop-off. For information, visit the city’s election information website at weho.org/elections.

People wishing to vote now can use the drop boxes. Beginning on Oct. 24, the county will open in-person Vote Centers in select locations. All Vote Centers throughout the county will open on Oct. 30 and will remain open through Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

In West Hollywood, a Vote Center will be open from Oct. 30-Nov. 3 in Plummer Park’s Fiesta Hall, 7377 Santa Monica Blvd. There will also be Vote Centers at the Kimpton La Peer Hotel, Lobby Rooftop, 627 N. La Peer Drive, and the Iranian American Jewish Federation’s Sapper Hall, 1317 N. Crescent Heights Blvd., according to the Los Angeles COunty Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office.
