On Wednesdays this fall, tune into “Artist Spotlight,” an off-the-cuff series of virtual conversations with Artistic Director Paul Crewes and artists from The Wallis’ 2021 Season. Crewes will connect with each artist from the worlds of theater, music and dance to talk about their projects and how they are navigating the challenging times.
Crewes’ first Artist Spotlight chat, which took place yesterday, Sept. 30, reunited him with longtime collaborator and friend, Emma Rice. The two discussed Rice’s latest production of “Romantics Anonymous” and what it was like to create a piece in the middle of a global pandemic.
