West Hollywood Eat + Drink Week
This 10-day event begins Oct. 23, showcasing a variety of culinary and cocktail experiences unique to the West Hollywood area. Similar to a restaurant week, participating eateries offer special food and drink menus at set prices during the event. BOA takeout and delivery
Enjoy a petite filet dinner at BOA Steakhouse for $65 during West Hollywood’s Eat + Drink Week. You’ll start with a classic Caesar salad, then choose two sides to go with your petite filet. Cavatina’s Eat + Drink brunch
Sit outside in a lush garden setting during lunch or for the Eat + Drink Week weekend brunch at the Sunset Marquis. The Saturday and Sunday menu is available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Start with Greek yogurt, fresh berries and homemade granola; guacamole tostadas or chilled colossal shrimp. Entrees include a Sunset Marquis breakfast with eggs, bacon or sausage, breakfast potatoes or fruit; a golden cauliflower steak with truffles; coconut yogurt; or a bagel with cream cheese and Santa Barbara smoked salmon. For dessert, there is a strawberry tres leches parfait, ice cream or sorbet, or warm chocolate chip cookies. The three-course brunch is $35. Eat + Drink Week at Gracias Madre
The plant-based restaurant is participating in West Hollywood’s Eat + Drink Week with a special curated menu from Oct. 23 to Nov. 1. Chef Mario’s healthy bites include items such as the Mole de la Casa made with mushrooms, coconut rice and greens. Boxwood Eat + Drink menu
This year at the rooftop of the London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills, the signature restaurant Boxwood offers a special menu during West Hollywood’s Eat + Drink Week. Pop-up at The Grove
Lara Adekoya, a young entrepreneur and overnight baking sensation, will have a three-day residency for her business Fleurs et Sel at The Grove’s coveted Glass Box, Friday, Oct. 23, to Sunday, Oct. 25. As a former employee of Nordstrom’s at The Grove, Lara turned her passion for baking into a thriving small business and source of income. Her former client and mentor, celebrity and wedding event planner Mindy Weiss, is helping bring Lara’s Fleurs et Sel pop up to life. The space features a stunning three-dimensional cookie display alongside floral motifs. Try her signature brown butter and sea salt chocolate chip cookies and brown butter and vanilla bean sugar cookies. She will also be offering her brownie, Oreo and cookie BAE Bars, in addition to limited batches available on-site. Pasta Sisters Food Truck at Il Caffe
Known for coffee in the morning, Il Caffe is a community all-day spot in downtown L.A. On two Saturdays, Oct. 24 and 31, the Pasta Sisters food truck will be parked in front from 4 to 9 p.m. Enjoy freshly made pasta bowls and cocktails, such as an apertivo or rosé spritz, to enjoy for a socially distanced night out. 855 S. Chado Halloween tea special
This month Chado Tea Rooms are offering a Halloween-inspired afternoon tea. The menu features a glass of Halloween-inspired iced tea, a choice of pumpkin soup or pumpkin spice salad, and a two-tiered rack of four Halloween-inspired pumpkin, bat and ghost finger-sized sandwiches on one level and scones with cream and jam, as well as macaroons and butter cookies on the second tier. This special also includes one pot of pumpkin spice chai tea for $28 per person. New Burger Lounge concept
The Larchmont Burger Lounge has been transformed into a Real Food Innovation Test Kitchen, offering a new plant-based fauna and flora menu. Now diners can enjoy the best responsibly sourced meat burgers and plant-based options. Their juicy cheeseburger has melted organic cheese and crispy bacon, but now there are also plant-based burgers and cashew based dairy-free strawberry and vanilla milkshakes. The new plant-based options push the boundaries on innovation and taste. Socalo Fall family meal kit
Pre-order the new fall meal kits for curbside pickup and delivery. Each kit comes with reheating instructions for dining at home. Items include Brussels sprouts with pomegranate, salsa verde and cotija cheese; sweet corn tamales; cranberry salsita; and Modelo Negra-braised beef short ribs with confit tomato jam and apple empanadas.
