Hollywood Temple Beth El is making the High Holy Day Services available to the public for free via livestreaming online. The temple requests that attendees donate whatever they can to help bring a message of hope to as many people as possible.
“Let’s create light where there was darkness and move forward together, safely and with health,” Rabbi Norbert Weinberg said. “Although the pandemic has cast its shadow on us, we can help shed light for you for these High Holy Days. Since you cannot come to us this year, we will come to you. We will bring the light right into your living room.”
Weinberg will be joined in the services by Cantor Andrew Erman, with participation by Cantor Isaac Boudaie, Dr. Isaac Norman and musician and accompanist Diane Brownson. The services will include a mix of the classic melodies for the sacred season along with words of wisdom. Services will be livestreamed from the synagogue through Zoom, YouTube and Facebook.
