West Hollywood city officials issued a new order on July 10 to help ease the burden on residents and businesses during the coronavirus pandemic.
Annual renewal fees for business licenses and outdoor dining, valet meter and valet sign encroachment permits have been deferred until Oct. 1. Business owners who paid the fees between Jan. 1 and July 10 will receive a three-month credit.
The city also suspended enforcement of parking regulations for residential street sweeping and peak/rush-hour zone restrictions from 7-9 a.m. and 4-7p.m. on La Brea Avenue, Crescent Heights Boulevard and Fountain Avenue until July 31. Residents with valid parking permits may also continue to park at nearby meters during residential street sweeping. Vehicles must have a permit displayed and may park up to 30 minutes before and after the posted hours for street sweeping.
