The city of Beverly Hills Human Relations Commission is calling on the community to nominate individuals or groups of people who demonstrate and promote positive behavior for the Embrace Civility Award.
In its 10th year, the Embrace Civility Award program honors those who consciously promote civility through respectful and responsible actions toward others, actionable kindness and positive neighbor-to-neighbor relations.
To make a nomination, visit beverlyhills.org/embracecivilityaward. Nominations may be submitted by email and mailed to the address provided on the form. All nominations must be received by Sept. 4.
“We’re looking to honor someone who has created positive, lasting civil change and inspires others to take action,” said Beverly Hills Human Relations Commission Chair Ori Blumenfeld. “We’re asking the community for their help in identifying our next Embrace Civility Award honoree.”
The winner will receive a plaque from the Beverly Hills City Council at a future meeting. All nominees will also be recognized by the Human Relations Commission.
The Embrace Civility Award is part of the ongoing Embrace Civility program, which promotes positive human relations in all aspects of community life in Beverly Hills. For information, call (310)285-1006, or visit beverlyhills.org/embracecivilityaward.
