I am responding to your request for help during this difficult time because the Park Labrea News/Beverly Press is informative, well written and should be saved.

I am a performance reader of poetry and literature at libraries, theaters and colleges. I do readings from James Joyce to Oscar Wilde. Edwin Folven and your paper have supported my readings for many years. Whenever I send information to him about my readings, he lists them in the Calendar section. This has helped people and inspired other publications to support my readings because I’m doing something nobody else is doing in Los Angeles.

I wish all of you good health and hope your paper will continue doing good work for many years.
