FIDM will present a virtual panel discussion today, June 18, on “Storytelling through Costume Design.” The panel will feature film and television costume designers Trish Summerville, Jill Ohanneson and Mandi Line. Nick Verreos, FIDM chair of costume and fashion design, will moderate the panel.
This Zoom discussion will highlight the importance and creativity of costume designers. It is free and open to the public from 5-6 p.m.
All participants are FIDM alumni and they will share some of their experience working on set.
Summerville designed for the first season of “See” for AppleTV+ and she has received an Emmy nomination for her work on HBO’s “Westworld.”
Ohanneson is a three-time Emmy nominee for “Six Feet Under” in 2003 and 2005, and for her work on “Citizen Cohn”
Line is known for her work on ABC’s “Pretty Little Liars.” Verreos has worked as a fashion designer, and his collections of red carpet gowns and cocktail dresses have been worked by celebrities
