The Beverly Hills City Council will consider the memorandum of understanding with the Beverly Hills Safety Support Association, which represents civilian safety support personnel, at the Tuesday, May 19, City Council formal session beginning at 7 p.m.
In accordance with state law, the city of Beverly Hills participates in labor negotiations with its employee associations. The results of the negotiations process are written agreements or contracts reached between the city and the city employee associations, or MOUs.
The Safety Support MOU has been ratified by the employee association and is subject to the adoption of the City Council on May 19. Negotiations with this association were completed at the beginning of March. The proposed MOU covers salaries and benefits for a four-year period.
