The state of California has awarded $100 million in emergency grant funding to California counties, continuums of care and the state’s 13 largest cities to help protect the health and safety of people experiencing homelessness during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The allocation included approximately $10.9 million for the Los Angeles County Continuum of Care, $19.9 million for the city of Los Angeles and $10.5 million for Los Angeles County.
The funding can be used for medical services, supplies, shelters and equipment. For information, visit gov.ca.gov.
