SAJJ Mediterranean opens today
A grand opening celebration begins Feb. 27 at 11 a.m., at the fast-casual concept offering health-focused Mediterranean food. Similar to a Chipotle-style assembly line format, the locally sourced food can be adjusted to meet most dietary preferences including vegan, vegetarian, keto and paleo. New taqueria in the Arts District
With the success of the first LOQUI in Culver City at Platform, Ari Ampudia opened a second location in downtown L.A. in the Arts District. LOQUI celebrates delicious food reminiscent of Mexico with scratch-made flour tortillas, quesadillas, classic guacamole with chips and a choice of mesquite-grilled chicken, beef, pork or mushroom tacos and plates. Seating is available in the along a brick interior wall with a Mexican flair and outdoors on the open-air patio, with tables around a cactus garden. Jane Fonda honored on Women’s Day
This year’s event at Studio at Beverly Hills honors the iconic Jane Fonda on March 5 from 7 to 11 p.m. The L.A. women empowerment nonprofit will have Fonda accept her award among 500 Visionary Women members and guests. A special partnership with world-renowned arts collector and philanthropist Chara Schreyer will also launch at the event, with an interactive art exhibit unveiling the first annual Chara Schreyer Arts Initiative.
