Dordick Law Corporation has purchased a building at 470 S. Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills and is planning an extensive renovation project before it becomes the law office’s new headquarters.

Located across the street from Dordick Law Corporation’s current offices, the new 10,000-square-foot building was purchased for approximately $11.1 million. Dordick has hired Beverly Hills architect Hamid Gabbay to redesign the space. Plans call for the project to be complete and the firm to move in by the end of the year.

“It’s a great location, a great piece of property,” attorney Gary Dordick said. “It’s about double the size [of the current office]. We want to make it look very beautiful and modern. It will have a completely different look utilizing a lot of glass.”

Dordick said the goal is to make the building stand out on Beverly Drive, where he has owned the firm’s current property since 1996. He said the location is perfectly situated near the southern border of Beverly Hills.

“It’s the first building people see when they enter Beverly Hills, and we want to make it a beautiful entrance to Beverly Hills,” Dordick added. “Beverly Drive is always going to be a valuable area, and when this property came up for sale, with 140 feet of frontage, I felt it was a good opportunity.”

Dordick has a long history in Beverly Hills, having grown up in the city. He attended Horace Mann Elementary School and graduated from Beverly Hills High School. He opened his first firm on Beverly Drive 32 years ago.

“We live in the neighborhood, all five of our kids attended school here. We are part of the community,” Dordick said. “We love the community here, and that is why we invest and live in it.”

Dordick Law Corporation specializes in civil litigation, primarily personal injury and death cases, Dordick said.

“We emphasize litigation and going to trial,” Dordick added. “We take a small number of cases and fight very hard.”
