Adding to the growing support for his reelection campaign, Los Angeles City Councilman David Ryu, 4th District, has received an endorsement from United States Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.).
“David Ryu has admirably represented his district and advocated for his constituents,” Feinstein said. “David has a clear vision on matters such as homelessness, housing and transparency, and he has shown the courage to get the job done well. I am proud to endorse David Ryu in his re-election.”
“I am incredibly honored to receive the endorsement of a true champion for California,” Ryu added. “Elected in the historic 1992 Year of the Woman, and having served as the first woman mayor of San Francisco, Sen. Feinstein is the definition of a trailblazer. [Her] tenacity and commitment to critical matters such as gun safety, the environment and homelessness inspires me to keep fighting alongside her to deliver for our constituents.”
In the past month since he announced his re-election, Ryu has received endorsements from other high-profile political leaders, including U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. Ryu has also been endorsed by 200 grassroots community leaders, Planned Parenthood and the Democratic Party, according to his campaign.
