“I am proud to have the support of these elected leaders, who have dedicated their careers to serving the people of Los Angeles at all levels of government,” Ryu said. “Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to personally work with these colleagues in taking on Los Angeles’ toughest challenges. Working with communities and neighborhoods, we will continue to fight for the Los Angeles dream.”
County officials who’ve endorsed Ryu Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn, 4th District; Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis, 1st District; Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey; Los Angeles County Assessor Jeffrey Prang; and retired Los Angeles County supervisors Yvonne Burke, Gloria Molina and Zev Yaroslavsky.
Ryu also received the endorsement of U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Burbank) on Dec. 16.
“I’m proud to endorse David Ryu for re-election. David has shown real leadership by taking on difficult issues like homelessness and climate change. Just as important, he’s also a great partner and is always willing to work closely with other levels of government to find solutions,” Schiff said.
Recently, Ryu announced that he has also received support from 200 grassroots community leaders, a group of state legislators and local labor unions.
