Rosewood Miramar Beach resort is celebrating the holiday season with specialty offerings.
Now through the new year, guests can experience a decadent Christmas brunch, a dedicated Santa’s House, seasonal spa treatments, unique overnight packages and amenities, and the resort’s curated programming. The holidays are a special time at the resort with opportunities for guests to join together over fine food, drink and fun.
“Christmas has always held a very special place in my heart. It’s the season of joy and faith and most importantly, it’s the time of year when families come together,” said Rick Caruso, founder and CEO of Caruso and owner of Rosewood Miramar Beach. “It brings me great pride to know that this year, families and friends from near and far will gather to create new traditions and share in the magic of Miramar.”
The resort’s Christmas tree is one of the largest in the country, with more than 5,000 sparkling lights and boughs decked with 2,500 ornaments. Jolly Old St. Nick has relocated to the coast at Santa’s House. Open daily through Dec. 24, one of the property’s bungalows has been transformed into a beachside North Pole, where children can visit with Santa as they sip hot cocoa and share their Christmas wish lists. Young guests may also write a wish list to St. Nick on special stationery and deposit it in his newly installed North Pole mailbox.
Guests are invited to enjoy Santa’s Holiday Brunch, with elves and strolling holiday entertainers. Hosted on Sunday, Dec. 15 and Sunday, Dec. 22, in the elegant Chandelier Ballroom, the brunch will celebrate the spirit of giving with a portion of the proceeds donated to Santa Barbara’s Storyteller Learning Center in support of homeless and at-risk children and families.
Celebrate Hanukkah from Dec. 22-30 with nightly menorah lightings. Following each of the eight ceremonies, guests will be encouraged to enjoy the display from the comfort of the resort’s living room.
On Christmas Day, Malibu Farm and Caruso’s will offer delectable brunches. Malibu Farm will serve regionally influenced Christmas classics paired with seasonal dishes and displays, including a cut-your-own-salad garden, Morro & Humboldt Bay oyster bar, cheese and charcuterie board, live carving stations and more. Additional highlights will be chilled Channel Island lobster tails, Kumamoto and Miyagi Oysters, Sonoma lamb rack tagine, barrel-aged maple glazed yams and Santa Barbara pistachio crème brulée. For more formal dining, Caruso’s will offer a five-course prix-fixe menu and views of the Pacific Ocean. The menu features Santa Barbara spot prawns with Stephanie’s urchin toast, hand-rolled Weiser Farm potato gnocchi, rock crab Benedict, dry-aged Liberty duck, and Snake River wagyu filet.
