Los Angeles City Councilman David Ryu, 4th District, joined young participants in a pie-eating contest at the annual Griffith Park Harvest Festival on Sunday, Nov. 10. The celebration included music, food trucks, a beer garden, vendor booths, Kids Zone, family activities and an outdoor screening of the Disney-Pixar film “Coco.” The event was sponsored by Ryu’s office and the Los Angeles Parks Foundation. The fire that erupted on Saturday, Nov. 9 at the western edge of Griffith Park did not affect the festival. For information, visit laparksfoundation.org.
