Rodeo Drive is the place to be to for BOLD Holidays.
BOLD, Beverly Hills Open Later Days, is a citywide initiative aimed at enlivening the nightlife culture every Friday and Saturday evening with entertainment, holiday art installations and more.
BOLD Holidays kicked off its third year on Nov. 14 with remarks from city leaders, live performances, fireworks and a visit from Santa Claus at the Holiday Lighting Celebration.
This year, the Scenario Studio is presenting “A Photomusement Experience,” a pop-up interactive photo experience designed by photographer John Ganun at 262 N. Rodeo Drive. The pop-up will be open through Dec. 22 every day except Thanksgiving. Ganun will be in attendance from 5 to 10 p.m. on Nov. 30 and Dec. 14.
Participants can create their own photoshoots on five unique professional photo sets, including Ganun’s signature “Upside Down” room and two inspired by holiday cult classics, “Elf” and “It’s a Wonderful Life.” On set, participants can style their own shoot using a variety of provided costumes and props. Each set is LED, allowing guests to produce high-quality photos using their own smartphone cameras rather than typically required professional cameras.
BOLD Holidays continues across the city through Dec. 21 with evening shopping and a series of complimentary activities including live, seasonal entertainment and musical performances along the length of Rodeo Drive, spectacular holiday light displays, rides aboard the Jolley Trolley with Mrs. Claus, curated art walks, and family visits with Santa.
