West Hollywood’s Human Rights Speakers Series, in conjunction with Village Entertainment, will hold a panel discussion and advanced screening of the documentary film “Lost in America” on Tuesday, Nov. 5, in the City Council Chambers.
“Lost in America” is a documentary by director Rotimi Rainwater exploring youth homelessness in the United States. The film highlights human trafficking, the foster care system, domestic violence, abuse and the stories of youth who are rejected because of their sexuality. The documentary features interviews with executive producers Rosario Dawson and Jewel, as well as Jon Bon Jovi, Halle Berry, Sanaa Lathan, Rebecca Gayheart-Dane, Tiffany Haddish and others. West Hollywood’s Human Rights Speakers Series brings together diverse communities to learn about and discuss global, national and local human rights issues in a supportive environment.
