I want our democracy to be for the people or, “we, the people.” We cannot achieve that goal when people can buy influence and laws and it’s not in all the people’s interest. What we need is a constitutional amendment to restore Congress’ ability to enact reasonable and sensible campaign finance regulations.

Our laws, at present, favor corporations over people, or else we would not have weakened regulations that protect our water, air and environment. These regulations would protect us in the future.
