Longtime Beverly Hills resident Adrienne Rubin will be honored for her philanthropy at a special program on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 5 p.m. at the Skirball Cultural Center.
Rubin owns Avanti Jewelry in Beverly Hills and authored “Diamonds and Scoundrels: My Life in the Jewelry Business.” She will speak about her fundraising efforts for the annual arthritis gala, “Champions for a Cure.”
Among her recent endeavors was an eight-day bike ride along the California coast that resulted in significant financial contributions. Rubin also recently received an Irwin Literary Award from the Book Publicists of Southern California for the Best Advance Publicity Campaign of the Year
