Earlier this month, the Los Angeles Department of Transportation installed yellow bollards at the intersection of Rosewood and La Brea avenues. While bicyclists may cross the intersection on Rosewood Avenue, cars must turn right onto La Brea Avenue.

The bollards, as well as the bicycle-friendly traffic signals, aim to make the intersection more bicycle-friendly as part of the Mid City West Community Council’s plan to create more greenways in the area, said Scott Epstein, the council’s chair.  Epstein said it’s “thrilling” to see tangible progress being made on a project that the council has been working on since 2013.
