The California Science Center is opening its new film “Backyard Wilderness 3D” on Oct. 4.
The award-winning film, created by Emmy Award-winning and Oscar nominated filmmakers Andrew Young and Susan Todd, reminds people to put down electronic devices, go outside and explore nature. The film displays unique wildlife imagery and behavior captured throughout a year around a suburban home by cameras mounted inside dens and nests and moving along forest floors and pond bottoms.
A sensory-friendly version of the film will be offered in 2D.
California Science Center is located at 700 Exposition Park Drive. For information, visit californiasciencecenter.org.
