Craft Contemporary’s fourth annual “CLAY LA” exhibit will present the work of more than 20 ceramic makers in a two-day marketplace on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 7 and 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“CLAY LA” is a ceramic marketplace and fundraiser for Craft Contemporary’s ceramic and clay-based programming, workshops, sales and exhibitions.
Guests can enjoy music and complimentary refreshments while shopping and mingling.
A VIP Brunch Preview will take place Saturday, Sept. 7, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., offerin, first pick of ceramic pieces and complimentary specialty cocktails, with breakfast from Porto’s Bakery. The cost is $20.
Artists in the exhibit include Alyson Iwamoto Ceramics, Angela Chvarak Studio, Ashley Pao Ceramics, Betsey Carter Ceramics, Ben Medansky, D: Ceramics, Ekua Ceramics, EUNBI, Francis River, Gina Zycher Ceramics, Gopi Shah Ceramics, Heo Ceramics, Jolana Pineda Ceramics, Koik Ceramics, Kristen Erickson, neenineen, OBJECT-MATTER CERAMIC, POT Studio LA, Raina Lee, Rami Kim, Ren•Vois, Tiny Badger Ceramics and Tome Ceramics.
“CLAY LA” includes access current exhibitions and a hands-on air-dry clay workshop, which runs from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on both days.
Admission is free for Craft Contemporary members and children under 10, $9 for general admission and $7 for students, teachers and seniors 65 years or older.
