The Beverly Hills Unified School District Board of Education has adopted a refreshed district motto – “Education Reimagined” – to reflect the recent reconfiguration resulting in two elementary schools and one middle school, as well as an updated and more inclusive mission and vision statement.

The motto was initially created to launch the BHUSD’s reconfiguration. Transitional kindergarten through fifth grade classes are offered at Horace Mann and Hawthorne elementary schools, and sixth through eighth grade classes are held at Beverly Vista Middle School. Beverly Hills High School offers ninth through 12th grade classes. Later this year, each school will formally adopt their own school motto. The Beverly Hills High School motto, “Today Well Lived,” will not change.

Additionally, the BHUSD Board of Education approved an updated mission and vision statement.

“In a safe and supportive community, BHUSD will deliver rigorous and enriching quality education and prepare all students to thrive as productive citizens in a complex, changing world. All students will be inspired to act with integrity and realize their academic potential while achieving college and career readiness,” the statement read.
