Join officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division for a “Tip-a-Cop” event on Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill at The Grove.

Officers will serve as waiters and waitresses and a portion of customers’ bills will be donated to the Special Olympics.

Special Olympics transforms lives through sport. It is the world’s largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities, with 4.4 million athletes in 170 countries, and millions more volunteers and supporters. The organization is also a global and social movement. Through the power of sports, people with disabilities discover new strengths and abilities, skills and success.
